All the Cool Parts Podcast

All the Cool Parts is a classical music podcast that I do every week.  The basic premise of All the Cool Parts is to introduce recent classical music recordings through some light commentary (with my own feelings and opinions thrown in) with excerpts from the CDs.

It’s my hope that you’ll take what I present as a springboard for your own further discovery of this music. The main reason I decided to start All the Cool Parts is that I felt this genre of music just ins’t being promoted enough – not even close. I’m not here as a representative for any record label, or music web site trying to sell CDs. My only goal is to promote classical music. As a result, I’ll be presenting a wide array of styles, genres and periods. Some will be on major classical labels, others might be independently released by the artists themselves.  Check out the website HERE – from there you can subscribe to the RSS feed directly, or through iTunes.

  1. Thank you very much for the interview with the musical director of Roomful of Teeth. Because of your podcast and interview, I got a chance to seem them last weekend here in Chicago and loved them. Even drug my son the elementary choir director to the show who was a little skeptical after listening to a couple of cuts from the album on their website, but he loved it. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!. And good luck with the KickStarter project.

  2. Thanks for the note, Gary! I forwarded your comments to Brad – I’m sure he will appreciate them!
